Here are a few tips to help you make great movies!
- Use the LCD screen to “frame” your shot. Make sure you see everything you want to shoot in the screen!
- Follow the action with the camera!
- Don’t shoot directly into the sun or in a dark room. Move lamps around to change lighting!
- For a fun eect, walk backwards. Shoot from below looking up! Shoot from above looking below!
- Set Video Girl™ on her knees and use her as a tripod, then make a movie of yourself!
- Stand close to someone for a ‘‘close-up.” Move back a little for a “medium” shot.
- Move back more for a “full” shot of the whole person and maybe some scenery!
Did you know? A movie director always says “action” at the beginning of a shot and
“cut” at the end of a shot.
